HIGH FIVE FRIDAY is coming to Downtown Perry! ✋📚

Teachers, administrators & school support staff — you made it through the first week of school, and Perry wants to celebrate YOU! 💛

On Friday, September 4 beginning at 3 PM, participating Perry businesses will be offering special discounts, treats, gifts and more as a little thank-you for everything you do for our students and community.

From snacks and sweet treats to shopping discounts, flowers, live music and more, there are plenty of reasons to make your way around Perry and enjoy the afternoon!

Have ideas for the future of the Silver Lake Trail and Perry’s downtown streetscape? Here’s your chance to be part of the conversation!

Join us TONIGHT, Thursday, August 13 from 5–6:30 PM at the Arts Council for Wyoming County, 31 Main Street in Perry, for a public open house focused on the Silver Lake Trail Extension and Mill & South Main Streetscape Enhancement Projects.

Stop in anytime during the open house to learn more about the plans, see what’s being proposed, and most importantly — share your input and ideas!

From 5:15–5:30 PM, designers from Colliers will also give a brief overview of the project and the work completed so far.

These projects are part of a larger effort to better connect Silver Lake, the Village of Perry, and Letchworth State Park while enhancing our community for residents and visitors alike.

Come see what’s being planned and help shape what comes next!

Join us for the Downtown Perry Art Walk on Friday, August 7, from 5:00–8:00 PM and discover local creativity around every corner.

Take a self-guided stroll through downtown as local businesses and community spaces host talented artists, live demonstrations, exhibitions, music, and unique experiences. From painting and sculpture to hand-spun textiles and live performances, there’s something to inspire everyone.

🎭 Shakespeare is coming to Silver Lake!

Looking for a unique way to spend an afternoon or evening? Shake on the Lake returns to the Silver Lake Beach on Saturday, August 1, with performances of William Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors at 2:00 PM and 6:30 PM.
This talented touring theatre company brings Shakespeare to life with humor, energy, and a fresh take that’s enjoyable for both longtime fans and first-time audience members.
