Showtime is getting very close and you won’t want to miss out on yet another great Perry Rotary Show production which generates funds for several Community projects!
The Show runs Monday and Tuesday evenings November 10 & 11 at 7 pm at the Perry High School Auditorium. This year’s theme is “Cruising with Rotary.” Perry Rotary continues to celebrate their 100th birthday and the show – probably one of the longest running variety shows in the state – is something that we as a community can be very proud of!! Please come help us celebrate and to help raise even more funds for more community and worldwide charity.
In order to make the show a success we really do need your attendance! The show starts at 7 and ends around 8:30. Come early to get a good seat and to listen to Eric Kelly and company play some great pre-show music. Meet up with some friends and enjoy a fun night out and be back home and in bed by 9!
The show will again be emceed by the amusing duo -- Jeff Fitch and Doug Seeber. The show has several comedic skits and much musical talent to offer! The Perry Rotary Club has approximately 65 members and more than half of them will be performing – some for the first or second time as the club has several newer members. Some regular favorite comedians include Daryl Heiby and Donna Francis, Butch and Betsy DeGroff, and 30+ other long-time (and newer) funny Rotarians. Skits include The Christening, Cruise Controls, Boarding Mayhem, Smooth Haircuts, The Belle Cats, Cruise Shoppers, Dancin in the Dark, Ms. Applebottom Goes Overboard, Haves and Have Nots Food Fight, Shallow Vows, Fore from the Aft, Edith and Archie’s Maiden Cruise, and Abandon Ship. Our setting will be aboard the Rotary Belle!
Music will include that from the Perry Rotary Chorus and the Children’s Chorus. The song selections are really great – you’ll love them – Kokomo, Walkin in Sunshine, and Our America. The 17-member Kids Chorus will be singing Slippery Fish and Over the Deep Blue Sea. We will be honoring Veterans as well.
Tickets – shall we say “boarding passes” -- are $10 for adults and $5 for students and are available pre-sale from any Rotarian, various businesses, and local Perry Banks and Community Bank in Warsaw. Tickets can also be purchased at the door for the same price.
