🌻 Help a Neighbor Stay Connected

Many older adults in Northern Virginia face challenges getting to medical appointments, grocery stores, and other essential services. Through Neighbors Connect, volunteer drivers help bridge that gap and support seniors in maintaining their independence.

Volunteer drivers enjoy:
• Flexible scheduling
• Using their own vehicle
• Opportunities to serve their local community
• Making a direct impact in a senior's life

We are especially in need of bilingual English/Spanish volunteers.

Transit Trek in action 🚌🌳

This week, DATA Mobility Partners partnered with the Lorton Community Action Center for a Transit Trek to Pohick Estate Park using public transit.

Every participant who signed up joined the trip, where they practiced riding the bus, navigating routes, and exploring a local community destination together.

Trips like these help build confidence, independence, and connection through accessible transportation.

The DATA Mobility Partners team loved connecting with commuters, community leaders, and fellow transportation advocates while celebrating sustainable ways to get around Northern Virginia.
