Some good news!

The UVA Community Health Foundation has announced a $25,000 donation to the UVA Health Cancer Care Gainesville to aid in the hospital’s cancer care initiatives.

💕We have been the recipients of a memorial donor advised fund since 2017, in honor of a local Northern Virginia woman who passed away from brain cancer earlier in that year. We are so grateful for the donations we've received from this fund over the years - totaling nearly $15,000. Most recently from this memorial fund, we received our single largest donation ever in the amount of $5000!

We are truly thankful for this support. Her legacy will continue to live on in the work that we do, providing financial aid to cancer patients.💞 🕊️

💞We are so thankful to have support once again from ! They have donated $500 worth of gift cards that we will grant out to cancer patients in need of financial aid to help with vital daily life expenses such as groceries! 🛒🛍️

We simply cannot do this work without partners like them. Feeling grateful 🥹.

🎂Today is a special day... it's our mom Cindy's heavenly birthday and she would be turning 69. Each year in honor of her birthday we strive to raise vital funds for Cindy's Legacy charity.

💞 Grants going out!! For 14 years we have been fulfilling our mission of helping cancer patients in financial distress. Today we’re sending $600 in gift cards to patients in Washington DC.

With so many funding resources being frozen, cut and on the chopping block, we’re grateful to the donors who allow us to continue our work❤️ It’s needed now more than ever.
