For Kids Foundation The Foundation serves as a safety net for Northern Nevada children who have fallen through the cracks of existing agencies and charitable organizations.

For Kids Foundation fills in the gaps created by other programs to fund the urgent, unmet needs of Northern Nevada children (from birth to age 21) when there is no other known resource available. Eligibility Requirements:
Child must reside in Northern Nevada
Child is age 0 to 21 years
Child has a need not met by any other known resource

Did you know For Kids Foundation was founded right here in Reno in 2003?

Dr. Earl Nielsen and his wife, Paula, wanted to help children who were falling through the cracks, those who didn’t qualify for existing programs but whose families couldn’t afford the care they needed.

It started with one question: What if we could help any child with any critical need?
More than 20 years later, For Kids Foundation continues helping Northern Nevada children get support when there’s nowhere else to turn.

We’re out in Dayton for Lyon County Kids Day today!

Stop by and see us. We’re giving away stuffed animals, dinosaurs, and a few smiles along the way.

Fair warning, the dinosaurs are getting adopted pretty fast and we’re keeping a close eye on them to make sure they stay out of trouble.

Come say hi, grab a dinosaur or stuffed animal for the kids, and enjoy a great day with the community. We love being part of events like this and getting to meet so many amazing families.
