Minnesota United Snowmobilers Association Protect your trails! Join at www.mnusa.og Through the years, MnUSA has become a statewide
and nationwide leader in recreational support.

Who We Are:
Minnesota United Snowmobilers Association (MnUSA) was organized in 1978 to protect, preserve, and promote the sport of
snowmobiling throughout Minnesota through favorable legislation and programs. Minnesota today enjoys over 20,000 miles of snowmobile trails because of the combined efforts of local snowmobile clubs, State and
Federal leaders, Department of Natural Resources and snowmob

ile volunteers. MnUSA is a leader in the advancement of snowmobile safety, a medium for the
exchange of snowmobile information, and the fraternal spirit of snowmobilers. MnUSA is a non-profit volunteer association made up of an executive board with
region directors. All members are invited to actively participate in the association. Minnesota United Snowmobilers Association watches legislation and funding to
protect the snowmobile trail system in Minnesota for all snowmobilers. MnUSA strives to
educate legislators, media, and the general public concerning the sport of snowmobiling. Strong membership makes this possible. Minnesota United Snowmobilers Association supports over 300 snowmobile clubs. These clubs are made up of volunteers who prepare, groom and maintain the majority of
the 20,000 miles of trails. These clubs, based across the state, are instrumental in
developing the community of snowmobiling. MnUSA assists the clubs with organization, legislation, public relations, trail
development, and safety training. MnUSA hosts four events each year to gather
snowmobilers from across the state to protect, plan, share and enjoy the snowmobile
community together. All members are invited to attend the Fall Workshop, Winter
Rendezvous and Governor’s Ride, Spring Planning Meeting and Summer Campout. Individual/Family Benefits Include:

UPDATE: SF 1245 was laid over in committee yesterday. It is now dead. Before the hearing we spoke with the ATV lobbyists who told us how the various Facebook posts and comments hurt their cause. They agreed that they would have asked for our help if needed but as mentioned in an earlier post, we all knew the bill was dead on arrival. In testimony, ATV Mn President Ron Potter emphatically disavowed the untrue, hateful and racist posts and communications (The committee chairman is Hmong). All testimony from both sides was respectful and well done.
