On February 23, 2026, a remarkable display of teamwork unfolded as first responders united to save a life when a man became unresponsive.

It all began when a quick-thinking family member recognized the emergency and immediately dialed 9-1-1. A calm 9-1-1 telecommunicator answered, guided the family member through CPR, and dispatched emergency services. When Ramsey Police and Fire arrived, they took over, performing CPR and using an AED while Allina-Medics applied more advanced medical techniques. Remarkably, while still on the scene, Steven regained a pulse and attempted to breathe on his own. He was then rushed to Mercy Hospital, where his dedicated team continued his care, resulting in a full recovery.

This photo captures the joyful moment when all the first responders reunited with Steven, showcasing the incredible power of teamwork and quick action.
