MnUSA Region 5 represents the snowmobilers in the counties in the SE portion of the state, including LeSueur, Rice, Goodhue, Wabasha, Winona, Olmsted, Dodge, Steele, Waseca, Freeborn, Mower, Fillmore, Winona and Houston.

Michigan's snowmobile programs is self-funded.

It is supported primarily through:

Snowmobile registrations
Trail permits
A share of fuel taxes

General taxpayer dollars do not fund Michigan's snowmobile trail system.

That's why protecting these restricted funds is so important.
