Happy National Manufacturing Day!

Our favorite day of the year at MPMA. 😊

We hope today you take the time to thank a precision manufacturer for their hard work. Most people do not understand how much a precision manufacturer does for their everyday living comfort.

We also ask you to share with a younger person about the amazing career opportunities available right here in Minnesota. Have a conversation. Even better, invite them to a machine shop or a manufacturing floor. Our industry is not dark and dirty. It is innovative, automated, and quite frankly making really cool s----f! 😉 The trick is getting the next generation to process and understand that.

We have an entire page on our website dedicated to tours and events happening around the State of Minnesota. Take a look! If you have an event happening in October, send over to [email protected] and we will get it on the website.

Let's keep the ball rolling on bring Minnesota manufacturing back to top of mind across the state. It is our second largest economic driver. We have created Minnesota Manufactured Drive-Up Days for you to swing by to grab a sign, a cup of coffee, and say hi.

We have our last three sign pick up dates scheduled, see below!

Put one in your yard at home. Place one in front of your business. Give one to a school that has manufacturing career pathways. Let's blitz the state with awareness.

20280 Iberia Ave, Lakeville, MN 55044

Happy Labor Day to all our members, sponsors, and supporters!

Today, we recognize and celebrate the hard work of the people who keep Minnesota moving forward—and the important role manufacturing plays as the second-largest industry in our state’s economy.

MPMA has a lot to share in the coming months about programs and resources designed to help support the workforce Minnesota manufacturers need to continue to grow and thrive.

But today, take a well-deserved break. Relax, recharge, and enjoy the extra day!
