It's hard to capture the importance of soul care in photos, but it looks something like this!

This morning, nonprofit leaders stepped away from the demands of meetings, emails, and deadlines to spend intentional time in prayer, reflection, and rest with the Lord.

We're grateful to our Community Pillar, JourneyMates, for leading this Soul Care Retreat and helping create space for nonprofits to slow down and reconnect with God.

The morning at New Life Camp concluded with a panel featuring three Executive Directors who have been prioritizing soul care for years: Jim Dotson, Mary Vandel Young, and Cindy Finley.

We know that organizational health begins with the soul care and well-being of your nonprofit leaders and team. So, how do you make space for soul care amid a hectic schedule?

Just a few Network Affiliates discussing either world domination OR the future of Christian-led nonprofits in North Carolina.

We're not saying which one.

Either way, great having Sid Bradsher from Heart for ENC and RJ Caswell from Mission Charlotte in the office!

The mission continues!

More visibility won’t fix unclear marketing.

You can post more, email more, and reach more people, but if you’re not building relationships, what’s the point?

Matthew 5:14 calls us to be “the light of the world.” But marketing shouldn’t be about making your organization the hero.

Good communication helps people see what God is doing through your mission, connect with it, and find their place in the story.

Two Marketing & Communications Workshops down, one to go this Thursday at The King’s Chapel in Raleigh. 🙌

If you're struggling to turn marketing into relationships that move your mission forward, it may be time to rethink your strategy.

Quick test: Look at the last 10 pieces of marketing content from your nonprofit.

How many were promoting an event or making an ask?
How many helped someone better understand your mission?
Did you educate, celebrate, or invite?

We will unpack this and more at our free-to-attend Marketing & Communications Workshops: October 1, Oct 6, or Oct 8.

Last week, we celebrated alongside two of our Community Pillars:

A Doorway to Hope hosted its Turning the Tide for Hope Gala, bringing supporters together to prevent homelessness in Southwest Wake County. Melissa Osborne Sziksai was honored to attend and celebrate alongside Maria Young and her wonderful team.

Prison Alliance celebrated its 30th Anniversary Gala. Terrance Ruth, PhD joined for the event, which commemorated its work across 30 countries, as they closed in on $500,000 in donations.

We're always encouraged to see the impact our Community Pillars are making across our region and grateful for the opportunity to celebrate alongside them.

We are thrilled to welcome David Brown as Mission Triangle's next Executive Director!

Following a prayerful six-month search and unanimous Board decision, we're grateful for God's provision in bringing David to Mission Triangle for this next season of ministry.

Over the past seven years in London, David founded and led Good Space, a neighborhood-based coworking company, while serving as an elder and later Lead Pastor of Redeemer Queen's Park. Prior to that, his career included commercial banking and founding a manufacturing company.

As an NC State graduate, he returns to North Carolina with a deep commitment to Christian leadership and organizational health, bringing a rare blend of financial discipline, entrepreneurial experience, and pastoral care to help advance Mission Triangle's work and expand Kingdom impact across the Triangle.

David will begin October 1st, working alongside Jim until Jim's official retirement in April 2027.

A new chapter will be announced tomorrow!

After 15 incredible years of leadership, our Executive Director, Jim Dotson, is preparing for retirement.

While Jim will continue supporting Mission Triangle through April 2027, tomorrow we'll introduce the next Executive Director who will help lead Mission Triangle into its next season of ministry and Kingdom impact.

This moment has been months in the making. So many people have prayed, discerned, and worked diligently throughout this process, and we can't wait to share what's ahead.

More to come tomorrow.

Over the last several weeks, we've had honest conversations about fundraising events, donors, money, using your data, and how God works through all of it.

Believe it or not, He's in your spreadsheets too!

Thanks to the nonprofit leaders who joined us for our Transformational Fundraising workshops and small groups, and all of the conversations in between.

We're excited to see how these lessons take root in your nonprofits. Tell us how it's going. We want to hear from you.

Next up: Marketing & Communications. We hope you'll join us. 😉

As summer winds down, here's a happy moment from August: Girls' Lunch!

The women of Mission Triangle gathered over lunch for good food and good company. Grateful for this team and the chance to spend time together.

In Exodus 24–40, God’s people were invited to bring what they had to be part of something God was doing.

That’s the heart of the “Feel Good Ask.” Inviting people into a mission they can believe in, rather than simply asking for money.

At our last Transformational Fundraising II Small Group, nonprofit leaders explored what that looks like in fundraising conversations. Mary Gifford of Called to Peace Ministries and Seth Noble of Hope Reins shared their own fundraising experiences, followed by a guided activity where participants practiced the Feel Good Ask together.

Our final small group is today at 3 PM! We’ll wrap up the series by evaluating development plans, looking at ROI, and identifying practical next steps.
