Hi Wiley Community!

Our annual Fall Festival is 9 days away! We look forward to this FREE community event every October. This year, we’ll have food trucks & pay-what-you can pizza, lawn games, crafts, face painters, and other exciting entertainment.

In the spirit of Embracing Culture and Celebrating Community, a team of teachers have been working hard and are excited to share their Caribbean culture with your family!

At Wiley Elementary, our International Studies Magnet students explore the UN Sustainable Development Goals and look for ways to take action.

One example: Goal #12, Responsible Consumption and Production. 🌍

Last year students composted 2,612 pounds of lunch trays, keeping them out of the landfill and turning them into 870 pounds of compost.

Parents are welcome to join their student(s) for lunch on the cafeteria lawn. Please see schedule below.
DJ Supreme will be spinning music, and every Wiley student will receive one free Kona Ice to enjoy!

10:30-11:30 a.m.: Pre-K, Kindergarten and 1st Grade
11:40 a.m.-12:40 p.m.: 4th and 5th Grade
12:50-1:50 p.m.: 2nd and 3rd Grade

We’re in the final stretch of Raise Craze and we need your help to reach our goal before Friday!

‼️Raise Craze Update‼️
We’ve raised $9,160 toward our $23,000 goal but with Raise Craze ending Friday, March 27, we need a big final push!

No donation is too small. Every dollar gets us closer, and support from family and friends–grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbors–can make a huge difference in this final stretch.

Raise Craze is a kindness-based fundraiser where students complete Acts of Kindness (AOKs) while asking family and friends to support their efforts with donations.
⭐Our goal is 1,500 AOKs schoolwide and $23,000 raised. These funds support the PTA’s Annual Fund, which benefits all Wiley students, their families, and our teachers and staff.

Feb. 27, PTA held its last Cultural Arts assembly of the school year, Japanese Magical Journey. Students explored Japanese culture through mesmerizing magic, storytelling, and interactive fun. The performance sparked curiosity and tons of laughter across every grade level.

A huge thank you to our PTA Annual Fund donors for making enriching programs like this possible and helping us bring the world to our students right here at Wiley!
