🎀 Everything Pink for October! 🎀

This month, our meeting was all about Juliette Gordon Low, the founder of Girl Scouts, and honoring her legacy while also recognizing Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Juliette Gordon Low passed away from breast cancer, so we filled our meeting with pink activities in her honor.

We started with our fun “Pass the Pink” game using a pink ball, then Juliette Low Jeopardy. The girls also made pink bracelets and pink breast cancer awareness pins.

I just received some amazing news. Nina, one of our former Girl Scouts has earned her Girl Scout Gold Award!

As a troop leader, there is nothing better than watching girls you’ve had the opportunity to lead continue to grow, accomplish their goals, and do great things. I am SO proud of you Nina!!

Congratulations on earning the highest award in Girl Scouting! 🎉 Once a Troop 3300 Girl Scout, always a Troop 3300 Girl Scout! 💚

💚 Yesterday we celebrated our Troop 3300 Bridging Ceremony and kicked off a brand-new Girl Scout year!

So proud of our girls and excited for all the adventures and memories ahead! 💚✨

Girl Scouts is switching things up for the 2027 Cookie Season, and I had to share the news!

🐶 Patch Pals™ – Yes, you read that right… DOG TREATS! 🐾 Girl Scouts is bringing something for our four-legged family members too! These are soft-baked, blueberry muffin-flavored treats shaped like Girl Scout patches. 🐶💚

🌈🍪 Girl Scout Sparkables™ – A NEW allergy-friendly oatmeal cookie made with chocolate chips and colorful sprinkles! They are gluten-free, nut-free, and vegan.

And YES… Exploremores™ are coming back too! 🙌🏾🍪

🐅 An Unforgettable Learning Experience! 🧡

Today, Girl Scout Troop 3300 had an amazing opportunity to visit the Tiger Sanctuary, where we learned so much about these incredible animals and the importance of protecting them.

One of the biggest lessons we took away is that tigers are wild animals—not pets. While they are beautiful and fascinating, they require specialized care, large natural habitats, and expert handling. No matter how cute they may look as cubs, they grow into powerful predators that belong in the wild or in accredited sanctuaries—not in someone’s backyard or home.
