Veterans Vanguard Security

Let’s go!!

Both our Pierce County and Thurston County campuses are now safe and secure as promised

From the beginning of opening our Olympia campus the weekend, the conversation of wanting to make sure it was safe from the very beginning. Women’s empowerment also comes with the responsibility of safety and a safe space.

We are proud of this partnership and sponsorship with veterans Vanguard security at both locations and beyond

We have nonprofit and we are veteran protected,

Today, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to the incredible Rotary Club of Parkland Spanaway for standing beside the Skoolie Foundation and the families we serve throughout our community.

This year, we were deeply honored to be selected as the recipients of the Pat Raise Event held on May 18th. Because of the generosity, kindness, and servant hearts of everyone involved, an incredible $8,150 was raised to support the mission and programs of the Skoolie Foundation.

These funds will directly help us continue providing resources, support, and hope to veterans, children, families, and members of our community who are experiencing hardship and vulnerability. Through this partnership, we are able to continue delivering:
🧼 Hygiene support
đźšż Showers
đź‘• Clean clothing
🍎 Food and meals
🧦 Basic necessities
đź’™ Compassion, dignity, and pathways toward stability

One of the most beautiful things about Rotary is the reminder that true service is inclusive. It means showing up for ALL people in need — regardless of background, circumstance, or the challenges they may be facing. It means recognizing that every person deserves dignity, kindness, and the opportunity to feel seen and supported.

Rotary has always represented the true heartbeat of community — neighbors helping neighbors, people stepping forward when others are struggling, and service above self. That spirit was felt deeply through this event and through every person who helped make it possible.

To the Spanaway Rotary community: thank you for believing in the work we do, for caring about our most vulnerable neighbors, and for showing what genuine partnership, compassion, and community leadership truly look like.

Together, we continue building a stronger, more inclusive community where no one feels forgotten.

From all of us at the Skoolie Foundation… thank you.

There are moments in this work that remind us just how powerful community truly is đź’™

At Skoolie Foundation, we see the challenges families, veterans, and individuals face every single day. We also get to witness something equally powerful — people stepping up to make a difference.

This year, we are incredibly grateful to the Windermere Foundation and the amazing team at Windermere Professional Partners for believing in our mission and investing directly into our community.

When we submitted our grant application, we had applied for $5,000 in support. To our surprise and gratitude, the Windermere Foundation went above and beyond by awarding Skoolie Foundation $14,000 this year to continue supporting outreach, hygiene services, family support programs, housing pathways, and hope for those working to rebuild their lives.

To kevin Mullin, the Gig Harbor Windermere Pro Partners, and every agent who contributes through their commissions to support nonprofits like ours — thank you. Your generosity is more than a donation. It is meals served, showers provided, resources delivered, and lives impacted throughout our communities.

We were also honored to stand alongside two incredible organizations that received grant support this year as well — Cathy Torgerson with Knock Knock Angels, Washington State and Sharon Chambers-Gordon with Raising Girls. Sharing the stage with organizations so committed to uplifting others was truly inspiring and a reminder that real change happens when communities come together.

We are also honored to share that Skoolie Foundation is this year’s Golf Tournament Recipient! ⛳

Join us June 12th for a round of golf supporting the foundation and helping us continue serving those who need it most. Together, we can continue building pathways from hardship to hope. 4th Annual Windermere Professional Partners Golf Tournament Fundraiser lets build NOAH!!

Anyone know this car??

This thief decided to come shop at our property after hrs. He destroyed to property and decided to take what he wanted that wasn’t not his.

This is so horrible. We sacrifice every day for our community. Our programs help those most vulnerable.

We will be filing a report! This is why we do not part our buses on property which is so sad for our community.

Please message us if you recognize this vehicle or person

And yes that’s a officer car driving by at 3am we are hoping dash cam caught plates
