Big Kids, Big Fun: TPOM’s First Older Kids Event at Urban Air!

Let's be honest — a lot of our TPOM events are lovingly, chaotically designed around keeping the little ones entertained while the adults try to hold a conversation for longer than 45 seconds before someone needs a snack or a timeout. So when we decided to plan our very first older kids event at Urban Air, we weren't sure what to expect....

Did you know that TPOM provides meals after multiples? One of the ways we provide support is to offer (2) dinners, breakfast, and dessert to the family. This support means they can focus on their family and enjoy their time with cuddles, baths and more SLEEP.

A meatloaf, vegetarian or meat lasagna could take one less to do item off their checklist, enabling them to new parents (or new to multiples parents) find their parenting groove.

TPOM understands that having twins, triplets, quads and more is difficult and an experience like no other. Add in a singleton, followed by multiples is another experience that our members have and it is a different hard. Providing meals is one way our group wants to offer support during this period of adjustment.

Easter Fun

TPOM goes all out for our annual Easter Egg Hunt! Kids got tons of loot! There was candy (of course), but also, stickers, Croc charms, a variety of other small toys AND hand-made, crocheted stuffies! And it was fun for a wide variety of ages, from just learning to walk... ...to, oh my gosh these kids are taking down the Easter Bunny! (Maybe he shouldn't have had full size candy bars stuck to him.)

A Blue Hedgehog at the Blue Mouse

It is an annual tradition for TPOM to rent out the 100+ year old movie theater, the Blue Mouse, every year and play a family friendly film. This year we invited a blue hedgehog to join us and watched Sonic (the first one)!
