🦜💚 October Volunteer of the Month – June Benowitz! 💚🦜

Please join us in celebrating our wonderful October Volunteer of the Month, June Benowitz! 🎉

June has been a dedicated member of the Parrot Outreach Society family since 2022, and we are so lucky to have her!

June holds a very special title at our rescue — our Designated Hydrator! 💦🦜 She makes sure our feathered residents have fresh water, keeping them happy, healthy, and hydrated. It may sound like a simple task, but with so many beaks to care for, it’s an incredibly important job!

Beyond her dedication, June is truly one of the sweetest souls you’ll ever meet. Her gentle spirit, kindness, and willingness to help make her such a treasured part of our rescue family. ❤️

June, thank you for the love, time, and care you give our birds. Your kindness never goes unnoticed, and we appreciate you more than words can say!

Let’s give June a big round of applause for everything she does! 👏🦜💚

🚨 EVERYONE CALM DOWN .. DEEP BREATHES. — WE ARE NOT CLOSING! 😂🦜

Apparently announcing a CAGE SALE sent everyone into panic mode, so let us clarify:

Parrot Outreach Society is NOT closing. We repeat: NOT CLOSING. ❤️

We simply have an absolutely ridiculous number of cages taking over an entire room — and frankly, the cages have been given their eviction notice. 😂

We need the space for something much more useful, so it’s time for them to GO!

🦜 CAGE SALE!
1205 Elizabeth st punta gorda florida on October 25th.
Come grab a cage, get a great deal, help the rescue, and most importantly…

Please stop planning our funeral. We’re still here. 😂

Now somebody come buy these cages before they start demanding their own zip code.
