Everyone deserves a safe place to call home. 🏠

On World Homeless Day, we recognize our unhoused neighbors and the importance of creating opportunities for housing, safety, and long-term support.

Homelessness can affect access to food, healthcare, employment, transportation, and other everyday necessities. Posada works alongside our neighbors to address these challenges through housing assistance, case management, essential services, advocacy, and community connections.

Today is a reminder that every person deserves dignity, compassion, and the opportunity to build a better future. 💜

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to encourage awareness, early detection, and support for those impacted by breast cancer. 🎗️

Here in Pueblo, we're grateful for community partners like CommonSpirit St. Mary-Corwin Hospital's Dorcy Cancer Center, whose team provides breast cancer screening, diagnostic services, treatment, navigation, and support close to home.

This month, we stand alongside those facing breast cancer, celebrate survivors, remember loved ones we've lost, and recognize the families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals who make a difference every day. 🩷

A little dirt. A whole lot of good. 🍈💜

Posada recently volunteered with UpRoot Colorado, a nonprofit that brings volunteers and local farms together to harvest surplus produce and share fresh food with neighbors in need.

Together, we helped harvest an incredible 7,000 pounds of honeydew melons for our community, with some of the fresh produce going directly to families staying at Posada’s Family Shelter!

Neighbors helping neighbors and sharing what we have. That’s how we strengthen our community. 💜

We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us for Posada’s Rebrand Celebration and Ice Cream Social at Sunset Senior Housing. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with sweet treats, great conversations, and time spent together as a community.

The event marked an exciting new chapter for Posada while honoring the mission that continues to guide our work: empowering lives and strengthening communities.

Having so many familiar and new faces there made the day even more special. We appreciate everyone who came out to share this moment with us, and we look forward to what’s ahead! 💜
