🟢 On 14 October, Paris presented a new cycling plan for the current municipal term, it includes 140 km of new cycle lanes, 220 km of contraflow cycling lanes and improvements to 420 intersections by 2032.
🟣 The City of Paris reported that cycling on its cycle infrastructure increased 7.1% in the first half of 2026 compared with the first half of 2025, while cycling now accounts for 11.2% of trips in the city.
Few cities across the world are investing in cycling as much as the French capital, which is truly showing the immense potential of active mobility to radically change urban spaces, good job Paris!
