Hi friends!☺️

We’re having a great year—if you missed our mid-year review, check out our last post to see some of the highlights!
We’ve had up to 140 people joining us for Sunday outreach, which is amazing, but it depletes our resources quickly. We always welcome donations, especially in person! While we try to minimize using our Amazon wish list, we know it’s a convenient option.
Right now, our most urgent needs are personal hygiene and sexual/reproductive health supplies:

Hygiene Essentials: Toothpaste, shampoo, etc.

Reproductive & Sexual Health: Pads, tampons, panty liners, condoms, and l**e.

Thank you for your continued support!

We want to say a huge THANK YOU to all who have been supporting us throughout this year. Your donations make a difference in people’s lives, and we are so thankful to every one of you who has donated time, money, or resources. These numbers seem surreal, and we are excited to continue serving those most vulnerable in our community.💕❤️

Hope everyone had a great Pride weekend🌈🏳️‍🌈💕

We’ve been running really low on volunteers. We are often just one person away from having to cancel outreach due to our strict 3 person minimum per site.

To make sure we can keep serving both of our locations consistently, we would love for you to join us! Remember, this is mutual aid, while we primarily serve our unhoused neighbors, we are here for anyone who needs a meal, including our volunteers.

Hope everyone had a great PRIDE weekend 🏳️‍🌈🌈💕

We’ve been very low on volunteers lately, so attendance hasn’t been consistent. More often than not, we are just 1 person away from not being able to go out since we have a 3 person minimum per site. We want to make sure we can keep serving both of our locations consistently, and we would love for you to come out and join us!

As a reminder, this is mutual aid, so although we mostly serve our unhoused neighbors, we are also here to serve whoever may need it (including you!).

The sign-up link is in our bio titled “Sunday Outreach Sign-up!” Reach out via DM if you have any questions.

Community is the fuel, Love is the game.

We are constantly blown away by what happens when a community decides to show up for its neighbors. Because of your support, Apollo continues to reach people through our outreach efforts! Just in February we’ve been able to serve 222 of our neighbors
When someone visits us, they aren’t just a “statistic”—they’re a neighbor. Because of your donations, we’ve been able to provide:
* Warmth: Hot meals, fresh coffee, blankets, and tents.
* Health: Medical attention from volunteer doctors, hygiene kits, and sexual health items.
* Essentials: Sandwiches to go, water, shoes, and tarps.
* Our Furry Friends: Dog and cat food to keep pets fed and happy.
The best part? Apollo is 100% volunteer-run. No overhead, no red tape—just pure love of the game. Every cent donated goes directly into the hands (and bowls) of those who need it most.
The fight can feel endless sometimes, but seeing this community lift each other up makes it all worth it. Thank you for volunteering your time and your resources. Let’s keep this momentum going🥰

Hope you all enjoyed the cute pup pics as much as we did! 🐶

This is Tristan. He’s a father, a neighbor, and right now, he needs our help. After a house fire took nearly everything his family owns, they are facing the incredible struggle of being displaced while trying to provide the basics for their kids and pets.
Insurance is the next step, but the deductible is a barrier they can’t cross alone. Let’s come together to help them find normalcy again.🤞🏽❤️

Hello, everyone! 👋

We’re popping in with a friendly, super important Winter Weather Reminder—the magic of layering! 🧤🧣

With winter upon us in full force, staying warm isn’t just cozy, it’s essential. When you’re picking out clothes (or choosing items for donation!), please keep the layers in mind: Base, Middle, and Outer! For some of our neighbors, this information—and the right gear—can be life-saving.

Speaking of gear... we are happily accepting coat donations! We love them, and so do the neighbors who rely on them to stay safe and warm.

We’ll be sharing more winter tips in the coming weeks!

A massive, heart-filled thank you to all of you who support us, whether it’s through a like, a share, volunteering your time, or a generous donation. We are truly so grateful for you! 🥹
