Last Saturday, YIA Board Members hosted a BBQ Fundraiser and Welcome for our new Adult Co-Chair Genesis Garcia-Carrasco. Genesis, A Providence native, Hope High School alumna and Program Manager at Conexion, brings a background in program management, social impact, and community engagement, she has designed and led initiatives that advance equity, workforce development, and leadership, including work with MIT Solve and C4 Innovations.

We are excited to have her leadership at YIA!

Thank you to Marco, Nick and Genesis for hosting, to everyone that came out to support, and the businesses that provided raffle prizes!
