The Breakers & Breakers Elite are happy to welcome Roland Reed to our coaching staff. Roland has been coaching youth basketball for approximately 15 years. He has run several summer basketball camps. HE played for the University of New Haven and finished his career at Bryant University. In 2019, his then 4th grade girls Travel Team for Smithfield won the RIYBA State Championship going undefeated, 23-0 and in the same year his then 6th grade boys Travel Team from Smithfield also won the RIYBA State Championship going 22-6. Also, for past 3 seasons he has been the head coach for the Smithfield Freshman boys team. We are very fortunate to have him coaching a 6th grade girls Breakers team and an 8th/ 9th Grade Boys Breakers Elite team this spring! Welcome Roland!
