Last night was inspiring! Inspiring Minds Unplugged was an evening filled with community, creativity, connection, and the arts. From our amazing local artists to our talented young performers, the energy in the room was truly something special. It was a much-needed breath of fresh air.

A huge thank you to our Board of Directors for bringing this event to life, to every artist who shared their gifts, and to everyone who attended, supported, sponsored, and donated.

And a special thank you to Justin Case, for providing the sounds, Alisha Pina for being a phenomenal MC, and Simply Exquisite Catering for the amazing food. And of course to The Guild for the beautiful space.

We are grateful for a community that continues to show up for Inspiring Minds and, most importantly, for our young people. Thank you! 🙏🏽

Our Inspiring Minds Open House, originally scheduled for today, October 1, has been postponed.

Our new Open House date is Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 5:00–7:00 PM at Inspiring Minds, 65 Pavilion Street, Providence.

We look forward to welcoming our partners, funders, volunteers, supporters, educators, and community members for an evening of connection and conversation. We’ll share updates on our programs, organizational priorities, strategic direction, and upcoming opportunities to support and engage with Inspiring Minds.

We apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause and appreciate your understanding and flexibility.

Please save the new date, and we hope to see you on October 22!

Our community is filled with incredible talent, and we'd love to showcase it while supporting a great cause.

Inspiring Minds is seeking volunteer performers (18+) for our upcoming Inspiring Minds Unplugged: Community Talent Showcase, a special fundraising event celebrating local artists and raising critical support for the youth and families we serve.

Whether you sing, dance, play an instrument, perform spoken word, or have another audience-ready talent, we'd love to hear from you!

Thank you for the acknowledgment. We appreciate your continued support and commitment to our students.

Approximately 100 Providence Public Schools Kindergarten students are participating in the KidsBridge Summer Learning Program at Bailey Elementary School!

The program provides rising kindergartners with six weeks of engagement to help them learn about school norms and routines. In KidsBridge, a program of Inspiring Minds, children engage and learn through play as well as learn to build relationships with their peers.

KidsBridge students are taught by certified, experienced teachers with support from PPSD's own high school students and trained community volunteers.

¡Aproximadamente 100 estudiantes de Kindergarten de las Escuelas Públicas de Providence están participando en el programa de aprendizaje de verano KidsBridge en la Escuela Primaria Bailey!

El programa ofrece seis semanas de aprendizaje y participación para ayudar a los estudiantes que ingresarán a Kindergarten a familiarizarse con las rutinas y normas escolares. En KidsBridge, un programa de Inspiring Minds, los niños aprenden y se desarrollan a través del juego mientras fortalecen sus relaciones con sus compañeros.

Betty just completed the yearlong program for the Deputy Director Learning Circle provided by the Alliance for Nonprofit Impact and United Way of Rhode Island. And thank you to BankNewport for their support of this program and commitment to the community. Congratulations to everyone who graduated today!
