Today is July 19th 2020. It has been 15 years since was tragically murdered. And it has been 15 years where her family has gotten no justice.
Today is also 15 days since the 4th of July. America’s birthday.
While you sit around and reminisce about taking those shots of red, white and blue liquor, remember what this country stands for and what it represents.
Letting murderers and rapists get away in cold blood. Allowing women to be r***d and murdered with ZERO consequences.
This , remember what this country stands for and understand that unless you are a straight white man of wealth, you will NEVER be protected. NEVER.

LaVena was a smart, beautiful, and intelligent young woman. Those who spoke on her said nothing but beautiful things.
The Army was sloppy, disrespectful and completely negligent when they “investigated” LaVena’s death. On this, the 15th anniversary of her passing, we need to keep holding the the Army accountable for LaVena’s death and for the deaths of the many women that came after her.
Today, on the 15th anniversary of her death, we ask that you join us in support of LaVena’s family and for the cause that they supported.
Her father has been fighting for over a decade to get justice for his babygirl and for other women so they don’t die the brutal way that she did. He fights so another father doesn’t endure the same pain that he had to.
She died fighting for a country that won’t fight for her.
We ask that you join us in demanding that LaVena Johnson’s case be reopened and the Army be held fully responsible in the negligent manner in which her death was announced and investigated.
It’s time that her family gets justice. It’s time that LaVena gets justice.
May LaVena continue to rest in absolute peace. ❤️
