LitArts RI is proud to include in our local author library a copy of Immigrant Detention in Rhode Island From Origins to End: A Brief History, made in collaboration by Future Document and AMOR Network. The book is being launched TONIGHT, June 21 at 6pm, down the street at Riffraff Bookstore & Bar. Proceeds from sales of the book will go directly to the AMOR Community Fund for ICE Detainees, for commissary payments for people detained at the Wyatt Detention Facility in Central Falls, RI.

Happy Pride, Providence! We’re going to keep the celebrations going tomorrow, Sun, June 21 at Haus of Codec’s Art Marketplace, which runs 2-7pm on Westminster Street in downtown Providence. From 4-6pm you can hear stories, essays, poetry and more written out of the q***r experience at LitArts RI’s Q***r Writers Showcase. Come out and support!
