Thanks to all the writers who came out to write with us at LitArts RI’s Analog Write-in at Gather Farm! We’re so grateful to our neighbors and partners .farm for opening their gorgeous greenhouse to writers as well as the surrounding trails, including a labyrinth! Writers took focused time in nature to get words on a page while enjoying breaks to check out the farm’s goats and sample the delicious ice cream!

Spotlight: T. Campbell Murphy is a writer and educator based in New England. He is a recipient of the Alvan S. Ryan Prize from the University of Massachusetts Boston and a fellowship from the Fulbright Foundation. When he isn’t writing, Murphy teaches secondary school in Providence and serves as an instructor at the University of Rhode Island. TOMORROW: LitArts RI will be at Gather Farm in Johnston, RI, cohosting an Analog Write-in for local writers looking for some focused time to write in a new environment. This event is rain or shine as there will be plenty of space to write in the shelter of the greenhouse. Don't forget to sign up for a ticketed goat hike or cuddle before or after the 1-3pm write-in.
