This October, downtown Providence will become the gathering place for a once in a century celebration.

On October 17, Rhode Islanders from across the state will come together for The Grand Centennial Celebration at WaterFire. Activities begin at 2 p.m. and will include nonprofit partners, volunteer opportunities, community activities, and a ceremonial WaterFire lighting.

Join us as we celebrate 100 years of bringing people together and look ahead to the next chapter.
