We're thrilled to announce that we are in the process of organizing a summer event for kids! Families have been reaching out to us, and we can't wait to share more details with you soon!

05/23/2026

As summer approaches, many parents are beginning to plan activities and fun outings for their kids. With school vacations on the horizon, thoughts turn to creative ways to keep children engaged, entertained, and active during the warmer months. Here are some popular ideas that parents might consider:
1. Outdoor Adventures: Families often look forward to spending more time outdoors. This could include trips to local parks, nature trails, or beaches, where kids can explore and play.
2. Camps and Classes: Summer camps are a great way for children to learn new skills, make friends, and enjoy various activities, from sports to arts and crafts. Parents may start researching local options that align with their children’s interests.
3. Family Road Trips: Many families plan road trips to nearby destinations, allowing for quality time together and the chance to discover new places.
4. Playdates and Community Events: As weather improves, parents might organize playdates or look for community events, such as fairs, concerts, or festivals, that provide fun and socializing opportunities for their kids.
5. Creative Projects: Parents often encourage creativity during the summer, whether through arts and crafts, gardening, or DIY projects that children can help with.

With all these possibilities, it’s a busy time for parents as they consider how to make the most of the summer months while ensuring their kids have a memorable and enjoyable break!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms out there! 🌸💖

Children, today is the perfect day to remind your mom just how loved and appreciated she is. Surprise her with a special day — breakfast in bed, flowers, a handwritten note, a hug, or simply spending quality time together. It’s not about how much you spend, it’s about making her feel seen, valued, and loved.

To every mother, grandmother, bonus mom, and mother figure — thank you for everything you do each and every day. 💐

In the true spirit of community, we distributed snacks, drinks, books, and gifts. Special thanks to Zeugirdor Silera from the Governor's Office for sharing her table, and to the Office of Litter Free RI for providing gardening equipment for the kids. Let’s inspire children to learn and help keep our communities clean!

It was truly inspiring to see so many young people dedicated to giving back to the community. A special thanks to our friends at Ocean State Job Lot for providing the rakes, brooms, gloves, and trash bags for the cleanup, and to our governor, Dan Macker, for ensuring that we had delicious pizza and snacks for all the volunteers!
