🎁❤️ A Look Back at One of Our Longest-Standing Toy Drive Partners!

For many years, Brown Health, formerly known as Lifespan, has been an incredible supporter of Community Angels and our Annual Coat & Toy Drive!

One of our favorite memories is how their departments would compete against each other to see who could collect the most toys! 🎁🏆 And let me tell you, they took that competition seriously! The excitement, teamwork, generosity, and celebrations were something special!

It wasn't just about collecting toys. It was about bringing people together for one purpose: making Christmas brighter for children and families across Rhode Island.

We're sharing some pictures from those wonderful years because these are the memories and partnerships that have helped make our Toy Drive what it is today.

Thank you, Brown Health, for being part of our Community Angels family and for all the years of love and support

Please register at Communityangelsri.com

We encourage families to register ahead of time because it helps us prepare for everyone joining us! Registration gives us a better idea of how many children and families to expect so we can have enough toys, coats, winter gear, food, and age-appropriate items.

Registration helps us prepare, but it does not reserve your place in line or guarantee items. Everything is distributed first-come, first-served, and children must be present.
We can’t wait to welcome you and your family! ❤️

Thinking back to when our founder, Laura Rodriguez, hosted the Toy Drive right out of her home on Sumter Street in Providence. Families came from across Rhode Island, and what made it so special was that it was truly an event for the community, by members of the community.

We felt so much pride and joy welcoming families into the South Side of Providence, sharing what we had, and making sure children experienced the joy of the holidays. Those early days remind us where Community Angels began and why we continue this work today. ❤️
