Ce 8 janvier 2026, à Washington, D.C., l’Ambassadeur Joann M. Lockard a rencontré Son Excellence Kassoum Coulibaly, Ambassadeur du Burkina Faso aux États-Unis, pour présenter ses vœux de bonne année à tous les Burkinabè et aborder officiellement la célébration du 250ème anniversaire des États-Unis d’Amérique. La rencontre productive entre les deux diplomates a porté sur le renforcement du partenariat entre nos deux nations. Il a été notamment question des opportunités pour approfondir les relations bilatérales, promouvoir la compréhension mutuelle et faire avancer les priorités communes des peuples américain et burkinabè.

On January 8, 2026, in Washington, D.C., U.S. Ambassador Joann M. Lockard met with His Excellency Kassoum Coulibaly, Ambassador of Burkina Faso to the United States to wish all Burkinabè a happy new year and launch the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States of America. Their productive meeting focused on deepening the partnership between our two nations. The ambassadors discussed opportunities to enhance bilateral relations, promote mutual understanding, and advance shared priorities of both the Americans and Burkinabè people.
