A huge thank you to our friend Kara from HOKA for donating dozens of gently used running shoes!

It takes a compassionate community to get people back on their feet. We’re so grateful, Kara!

Due to poor air quality and unsafe smoke conditions, we are canceling all runs tomorrow.

The health and safety of our participants, volunteers, and staff is our top priority.

Thank you for your understanding.

It’s hard to put into words what this partnership means to us!

We’re incredibly excited to share that Go The Distance has officially started partnering with Oregon Change Clinic.

What makes this even more special is that Oregon Change Clinic is located in the very same building where Go The Distance began back in 2019, when it was DePaul Treatment Center. That building is where our journey started, where our mission took shape, and where so many lives including our own began to change.

To walk back through those doors, now as an organization serving others, feels surreal. It’s a true full circle moment that honestly has us pinching ourselves to make sure it’s real.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to support the clients at Oregon Change Clinic and can’t wait to build new relationships, celebrate new milestones, and continue proving that recovery is stronger when we move together.

Today at Coda Treatment Center in Gresham our friends at KATU stopped by to interview Mr Izzy for a segment you’ll see next Friday! We also celebrated a GTD Graduate with his new pair of running shoes. Leslie, the Director of Coda Gresham was there to go our walk and be interviewed as well. Coda is a spectacular place. We’ve had so many memories since beginning there in 2022. We love their staff and their patients. Coda, we are so grateful for our wonderful partnership and friendship. Thank you Seth for setting this up. You’re an PR genius! 123…GTD…Let’s Go!!!

Words cannot express how much love, support, resilience, gratitude, achievements, dedication, loyalty, hope, (you get the point) this group of people represent. They are each with their stories of amazing abilities and experiences. To each of you that showed up to move today and that shared with us your stories, you are loved and welcomed a GTD. Have a great day and we will see you next weekend at the waterfront at 1130. We welcomed our new friends from OCC today and Cielo and Hooper! Way to show up!

A huge thank you to our GTD Board of Directors for treating our team to the Portland Timbers match tonight! ⚽

It was an exciting game, and even better, WE WON!

We couldn’t get all our staff there this time, but we had some good friends and volunteers fill in for them.

Go Timbers! Go GTD!!!

We were running at On run club tonight and who do we run into on the street? The two CFO’s of On. I recognized them immediately and did my whole “Izzy in hysterics” thing. To me these guys are rock stars. They’ve helped us so much with our financial stability at GTD which leads us to serve our community better. Of course I had to tell them about our experience at the On Store earlier today when Connor, Gregg, and I went to get some product. I told them Davis was amazing and knowledgeable and made our experience fun. Then of course like clockwork, Lukas (CFO of the Americas) says to me, “what more can we do for you?” They always say this to us. They always wanna do more. I said we are cruising along just great, that Lauren has us covered! I’m so glad I was dressed head to toe with On gear. I had my Monster3’s on and TJ was wearing the new Lightspray Monster. Frank said that he liked them very much but he’s biased! 😆. We were proud to represent On and GTD in Portland tonight. Even in the heat! We
