🎯A Big decision was made to stay Closed ONLY for the 2026 season as we do a much needed after 10 years open, Full interior remodel-new flooring, ceiling, lighting, air conditioning, dressing room, checkout counter, paint, fixures, a Complete Refresh & Reset. Hoping to do an exterior facelift as well.

We are Not going anywhere, we own the building and looking forward to keeping business in Our hometown for more years to come!

Judi Halstead will once again host the RiverFront Live outdoor summer concert series in downtown Port Clinton every Friday night at 6 p.m. The series, now in its 12th year, will feature a variety of performers, from John Pickle and John Davenport to Water Street Band and Ottawa County Bluegrass Band. Habitat for Humanity of Ottawa County is excited to announce that applications are now open for our 2026 Playhouse Project!

This year, six local children will receive a custom-built playhouse, personalized to their interests, favorite colors, hobbies, and themes. From beach houses to princess castles to superhero hideouts, each playhouse is uniquely designed by one of our generous community sponsors.

Best of all, these playhouses are completely FREE for selected families!

To qualify, families must:
✅ Live in Ottawa County
✅ Have at least one child under age 10
✅ Be available to attend the Playhouse Presentation on Friday, August 28, 2026
✅ Be able to pick up the playhouse following the presentation

Applications are available online and at the Habitat ReStore.

📅 Application deadline: July 31, 2026

A random drawing will be held from all eligible applications.

The kiddos took over the Tracy Colston District Stage Powered by Crown Battery Tuesday!

The Ida Rupp Public Libraries held their Story Time on Madison Street in the morning followed by Mr. Jeff entertaining with music and fun!

The kiddos laughed, participated in song and dance and had a great time!

Thank you to the library and it's staff for providing this great summertime activity!
