The Gristmill Supports TAG
The Greater Port Clinton Area Arts Council (GPCAAC) is grateful to The Gristmill for a donation of $1,700 to support its ongoing mission including its efforts to promote the arts in Port Clinton and surrounding areas. Owner of The Gristmill Brooke Hensley said, “The local art scene is important to this community. I value The Arts Garage’s (TAG) vision and what it has accomplished and I’m proud to partner with them.” The Gristmill is a popular destination that offers unique, award winning cocktails and music by extraordinary musicians. Their lineup of entertainment is unparalleled.

GPCAAC President Karen Evans expressed her appreciation on behalf of the board. “We are so grateful for the ongoing support of The Gristmill. Not only do they support TAG, but they are clearly committed to giving back to the community,” said Evans.

The Arts Garage is located at 317 W. Perry St., in Port Clinton is open Thursday-Sunday, from 11am-4pm. For more information about GPCAAC and TAG, please visit gpcaac.org.

6 Years of Purpose. 6 Years of Impact. 💜

6 years ago, Fifty Shades of Purple Project began with a simple mission: to create awareness, support survivors, and spark meaningful conversations in our community.

Today, we’re proud to celebrate:
✨ 6 years of advocacy and impact
✨ 5 years raising awareness about domestic violence
✨ 4 years raising awareness about sexual assault
✨ 2 years of providing a scholarship to a Port Clinton High School student through OCCF
✨ More than $15,000 given back to programs that provide direct assistance to victims and survivors

Every event attended, every story shared, every donation made, and every person who stood beside us has helped make this mission possible.

Thank you for believing in a future where survivors are supported, voices are heard, and no one has to face their journey alone. Here's to continuing the work, growing the impact, and creating change—together.

A huge thank you to The Jiu Jitsu Collective and Second Nature Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for their incredible $800 donation to 50 Shades of Purple Project!

This year, The Jiu Jitsu Collective chose 50 Shades of Purple Project as the nonprofit organization they wanted to support, and we are incredibly grateful for their generosity.

Not only did they raise funds for our mission, but members of Second Nature BJJ also joined us last year at our Purple Power Event to share self-defense demonstrations and help empower our community through education and awareness.

Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, competed, volunteered, and supported this event. Because of supporters like you, we can continue raising awareness, supporting survivors, and creating a safer community.
