Please join The Greater Port Clinton Area Arts Council as we celebrate five years of embracing, sharing and experiencing ART in Ottawa County. Bring your joy and get ready for some fun on Saturday, August 8 for A BIRTHDAY IN BRUSHSTROKES AT The Arts Garage (TAG). Tickets are $55 a person and can be purchased online at gpcaac.org or at TAG, 317 W. Perry St., during regular hours Thursday-Sunday, 11 am-4pm.

Did you know that The Arts Garage (TAG) has a retail component? We are working on bringing the best items to you! Featured currently is artist Jim Siemer a watercolorist whose passion for Ohio, especially Lake Erie and Columbus, his home town, is revealed in every one of his paintings.

Jim believes that Ohio is the most beautiful state in America and he captures its splendor through his watercolors. Jim has been creating Ohio watercolors for over 30 years. TAG is proud to have Jim's prints, boxed note cards and magnets available for purchase. One of his early paintings of Lonz Winery is always a best seller.

Below is a small sample of his unique and appealing work. Stop in to see the variety, including prints of Port Clinton's drawbridge, Lakeside, Catawba, the Jet and Middle Bass where his family has had a cottage for many years, and where Jim learned to love this area.

As we move forward, you will find a lot of variety at our gift shop, sponsored by a gift from Rona & Paul Rothschild. At this time we have a variety of greeting cards, ART SUPPLIES, projects for kids and, of course, art! We are proud to also sell books by local authors, include children's books - new recently.

TAG is open Thursday-Sunday, 11am-4pm, 317 W. Perry St., Port Clinton. Thank you for your support.
