This morning we, along with Knights from surrounding councils, joined Sleep in Heavenly Peace - OH, OakHarbor to build beds for kids in Ottawa County. What a fantastic ministry, providing for those directly in our community. Thank you for hosting us, and we look forward to doing this again next year, hopefully with more to build!!

To promote family prayer and awareness of vocations, we, with the help of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (Port Clinton, Ohio), introduced the Traveling Chalice Program in November 2024.

The chalice utilized for this ministry is a retired, consecrated chalice of a priest whom has since gone to his eternal rest. This chalice belongs to Reverend Raymond Earl Ensman. The kit also contains prayer materials and a crucifix with candles.

Each month, a family or any parishioner received the chalice into their home, sets up a small area it in a prominent place, and prays daily for vocations. This is a wonderful way to involve parishioners, especially children and those discerning in praying for vocations, and to unite the parish in perpetual prayer for priests and consecrated life.
