CMP CURRENTLY SEEKING JUNIOR RIFLE CAMP COUNSELORS FOR SUMMER 2025

The CMP is in search of qualified individuals to fill counselor positions for its popular Junior Rifle Camps!

Camp Counselor positions are open to college students who:
-have completed at least one year of school and
-are members of an NCAA/college club rifle team

Lindsey Slaten
Get To Know CMP’s Junior Rifle Camp Counselors! Lindsey Slaten is originally from Kennesaw, GA, and is a rising junior at the University of North Georgia. She attended the CMP Summer Rifle Camps in 2018 and 2019, and her positive experience made her want to be a counselor. Her main piece of advice is to work hard and never give up. She is most excited about seeing Wyoming this summer because she's always wanted to visit! Lindsey is majoring in kinesiology and hopes to become an athletic trainer after college. Kayla Kalenza
Get To Know CMP’s Junior Rifle Camp Counselors! Kayla Kalenza is a rising junior at the University of Kentucky. Originally, she is from Fort Mill, SC, and she is back for her second year as a counselor. Kayla got into rifle through a happy accident! She joined her high school’s JROTC team thinking that it was something different and ended up enjoying it. She thinks that juniors should attend the CMP Summer Rifle Camps because it's an amazing opportunity to learn, meet fellow shooters, and learn about possibilities for their future. Get To Know CMP Rifle Camps Counselors! Meet Lea Horváth! She is the CMP’s first-ever international counselor! She hails from Komarom, Hungary, and is a rising senior at Ole Miss. She started shooting with her twin sister in 2011 and quickly fell in love with the sport. Her most important advice is to have fun and be patient. She got into rifle through her high school’s JROTC program after wanting to see what rifle was all about.
