Accent Pontiac Accent Pontiac is an El Sistema-inspired during and after school program in Pontiac, MI! 🎶

Accent Pontiac, an El Sistema-inspired music program in Pontiac, MI, launched its pilot program on January 10th, 2017. The program is partnering with Walt Whitman and Alcott Elementary Schools and Pontiac Middle School. Accent Pontiac is currently serving approximately 125 second and third grade students. Students receive 45 minutes of bucket band instruction two days per week during the school da

Our after-school program includes Intermediate Brass two days per week, Introductory Brass two days per week, and Performance Bucket Band two days per week as well as snack and enrichment activities. Accent Pontiac is dedicated to the belief that all students deserve equitable access to a robust music education.
