🚤 has no behavioral issues!!! Such a good boy💙💙
☀️about 5.5 years old, about 60lbs, mixed breed
🚤 loves people
☀️smart & eager to please
🚤 enjoys being on the boat & swimming 💦
☀️great riding in the car
🚤 house & crate trained but trustworthy to be left out alone
☀️LOVES playing fetch 🎾
🚤 enjoys running with his people, hiking & going for walks!
☀️he’s lived with dogs; would prefer a submissive dog, one who’s not in his face stealing his balls🐶🎾

If happiness had a face, it would be Corduroy’s. 💛

At just 1.5 years old and 65 pounds, this goofy boy is full of life, love, and tail wags. He’s incredibly friendly with people, loves making new friends, and is very food motivated, making him eager to learn and train. 🍖✨

Corduroy was adopted as a puppy, but sadly returned when his family decided they didn’t want to put in the work that comes with a young, energetic dog. 💔

Despite that, Corduroy hasn’t lost his spark. He still greets everyone with a smile and believes every new person could be his forever family. 🥹❤️

This happy guy is looking for a home that will give him the guidance, patience, and love he deserves while also letting him be the fun-loving dog he is. 🏡🐾

He’s not looking for perfect people—just people who won’t give up on him.

💜🐾 Senior Sunday: Raven’s Story 🐾💜

At 9 years old and 62 pounds, Raven should be spending her golden years curled up on a cozy couch, surrounded by love. Instead, she’s still waiting for someone to choose her. 💔

Raven’s journey hasn’t been easy. She was once adopted from another shelter, only to be given away and eventually end up at an overcrowded, open-intake shelter. Through all the uncertainty and heartbreak, Raven has remained nothing but sweet, gentle, and loving. 😔🐶

Recently, Raven got the chance to spend time in a foster home, and she absolutely shined. ✨ Her foster family described her as the perfect houseguest. She had zero accidents, is crate trained, and settled into home life like she’d been there forever. She loves nothing more than snuggling up next to her people and soaking up all the affection she can get. 🛋️❤️

Raven is laid-back, easygoing, and happiest when she’s spending quiet time with her favorite humans. She would prefer to be the only pet in the home, where she can enjoy all the love and attention she deserves. 🏡💕

It’s hard not to wonder how many times Raven has watched people walk past her kennel. How many times she’s hoped that this would be the day someone stopped for her. How many nights she’s gone to sleep wondering where she belongs. 😢

Senior dogs like Raven are often overlooked, but they have so much love left to give. She doesn’t need perfection. She doesn’t need a mansion. She just needs someone willing to open their heart and give her the forever home she’s been searching for. 🐾💜

Foster to adopt Brendan, aka Breny💙 He’s precious & ready for his forever home! He really needs a 🩷mom🩷; wouldn’t mind a dad, but will take a bit to warm up to him.

🔹about 3 years old, 56lbs, mixed breed
☀️loves being outdoors with you….frankly, loves being wherever his people are!
🔹crate trained but trustworthy to be left out when you are gone
☀️food motivated
🔹rides well in the car
☀️will stay with you in the yard; doesn’t run off
🔹enjoys going for walks/hikes/boat rides
☀️has been dog friendly with dogs he’s met but a meet and greet is required with any dog he would be living with to ensure a successful fit.
🔹 probably wouldn’t do best in an apartment situation as he does bark when someone is at the door
☀️will jump right in the tub for a bath🛁
🔹 thrives with a routine. I’m guessing his life prior to coming to the shelter was full of unknown, and so he definitely appreciates structure and routine in his daily life💙
☀️ recommend no young kiddos due to their quick movements and his lack of exposure
🔹 he prefers a quieter life; his person, good food, walks, running errands & snuggling on the couch with you.

💔🐾 TWIGGY & BECCA ARE STILL WAITING… 🐾💔

Twiggy and Becca aren’t bonded, but they’ve become the best of friends while waiting for their forever families. 🥹❤️ Through all the long days and lonely nights at the shelter, they’ve had each other—and now they’re both hoping their lucky day is coming soon. 🍀🏡

Twiggy is a handsome boy with a big heart and an even bigger personality. 🐶💙 He loves spending time with people and is ready to trade kennel life for a cozy couch and a family of his own. 🛋️✨

Becca is a sweet girl who deserves the same chance at happiness. 🌸💕 She’s spent far too long watching families walk past her kennel, wondering when someone will finally stop and choose her. 😢🐾

Even though they keep each other company, the shelter is no place for dogs to spend their days. 💔 The barking never stops, the beds aren’t very cozy, and every night they fall asleep hoping tomorrow will be different. 🥺

They don’t need to be adopted together—they just each need someone willing to give them a chance. 🫶✨ Whether it’s Twiggy or Becca (or one of their friends) you’d be gaining a loyal best friend who will love you unconditionally. ❤️🐶

🌊🐾 Meet Cortez! 🐾🌊

At 6 years old and 64 pounds, Cortez is the perfect mix of adventure buddy and loyal best friend! 💙 This handsome boy is absolutely obsessed with the water—whether it’s a pool, lake, or any place he can splash around, Cortez is ready to dive right in! 🏖️🐶

Not only is he a water-loving superstar, but he’s also incredibly smart and eager to learn. 🍖✨ Cortez is very food motivated, which makes training a breeze! He already knows commands like sit and shake and is always excited to show off his skills for a tasty treat. 🐾🤝

Cortez is also a gentleman on walks and walks wonderfully on a leash. 🚶‍♂️🐕 Whether you’re heading out for a neighborhood stroll or exploring new trails, he’ll happily be by your side.

When it comes to other dogs, Cortez would do best with slow and proper introductions to any potential canine siblings to help set him up for success. ❤️

➡️food motivated
💙 crate trained, but trustworthy to be left out alone; not destructive at all
➡️ he is great on leash and loves going for walks
💙 highly enjoys car rides
➡️ has been dog friendly with the dogs he has met, but a meet and greet is required with any dog he’d be living with to ensure a successful fit. Would probably do well with a confident dog sibling to help show him the way🐶
💙recommend no young kiddos due to their quick movements and his lack of exposure 
➡️Will follow you around like a shadow; looks to please
💙Probably wouldn’t do best in an apartment setting as he does bark when someone is at the door.
