💛 September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

Behind every diagnosis is a child who should be worrying about recess, birthday parties, and what’s for dinner, not hospital stays, treatments, and what comes next.

Childhood cancer changes a family’s world in an instant. At V for Victory, we believe those families deserve to feel supported, seen, and surrounded by a community that cares.

This month, take a moment to learn, share, and help shine a light on the children and families facing cancer right here in our community. Sometimes, simply spreading awareness can be the first step toward making a difference.

For the families fighting, the children dreaming, and the community standing beside them, we see you.

So we’re offering you FREE PIZZA, FREE BEER, and an excuse to bring the whole family out on a Monday night.
Seriously. Dinner is on us.

Bring your spouse. Bring the kids. Let them eat, play, and have fun while you meet other local business owners and leaders from around the community.

It’s called Mondays That Matter, a new family-friendly gathering from V for Victory happening every other Monday at a different V Pizza location.

There’s no cost to attend. We just want you to come eat, have a beer, meet some good people, and spend an hour and a half with us.

Our first Mondays That Matter is this coming Monday (8/31) and it’s going to be an evening centered around great food, good conversation, and finding ways to show up for local families battling cancer.
 
We’re looking for businesses that want to be part of something bigger than business. Businesses that can help with the everyday things families still need while battling cancer.

We’re looking for local businesses that want to show up for local families.

When a family is battling cancer, life outside of treatment doesn’t stop.

The house still needs to be cleaned. The car still needs to run. The grass still needs to be cut. Dinner still needs to get on the table.

And sometimes, taking just ONE of those things off a family’s plate can make a much bigger difference than you realize.

Right now, we especially need local businesses that provide:
• House cleaning
• Home repair + maintenance
• Auto repair + maintenance
• Lawn care + landscaping
• Meals + dining

If you own one of these businesses, work for one, or have a favorite local business you think should be part of this, PLEASE send this to them, tag them below, or share this post. We want to meet them.

That’s exactly why V for Victory is launching Mondays That Matter.

Every other Monday, we’re meeting local business owners, leaders, and decision-makers together at a different V Pizza location to eat, connect, learn more about the families we serve, and see how local businesses can use what they already do every day to make life a little easier for families battling cancer.

Our first Mondays That Matter is August 31 from 5:30–7:00 PM at V Pizza in San Marco.
