*Honorary Board Member Spotlight*
Margaux Muhletaler is only 16 years old and serves as Love Troop’s an honorary board member! Margaux leads our High School Project Partnerships. Born and raised in South Florida. She grew up learning the importance to remember and appreciate the many men and women that are serving or have served our country. Margaux always knew she wanted to carry this sense of community at her school and this is where she got the idea of forming her own club with these same values. In 2022 Margaux co-founded SA4usa, and in the first year we had 82 members. SA 4 USA rapidly grew into the schools most active club. Margaux’s mission as a club was to help with Love Troop’s mission to write holiday cards to active military personnel, thanking them for their service and wishing them all the best. By December 2022 SA 4 USA was able to write approximately 2,400 cards in just 2 months under Margaux’s leadership. With such success, Margaux and her club decided to shift towards writing cards to Veterans thanking and honoring their service full-time. In just 3 months they wrote 545 valentines cards to a veterans home and 1,000 cards for First Coast Honor Flight Group.
