Why do you want to license Naturopathic Doctors and make Naturopathic Medicine accessible in our state?

Naturopathic Doctors (NDs) are graduates of accredited naturopathic medical schools and are eligible to practice naturopathic medicine in any state in which they meet the state licensing requirements. In all states that grant licenses to NDs, graduates are required to pass rigorous board exams in order to be licensed as general physicians.

Medical freedom starts with the freedom to choose.

Floridians deserve the right to decide what type of qualified healthcare best meets their needs. Floridians like Dr. Sarah Fiedler—who would have been eligible for naturopathic licensure under the bill—could have helped expand safe, regulated access to naturopathy for patients seeking that option.

Patients deserve the freedom to choose the healthcare provider that's right for them.
