💰 Trading Post deposits just got easier!

You can now add money to your camper’s or staff member’s Trading Post account online anytime. When making a deposit, be sure to use their full first name, last name, and Family Account ID.

Anokijig Announcement/Opportunity.

Sadly, Kyle Friedrich - Building Facilities and Equipment Manager has decided to return to his former career in Automotive Repair. Kyle has done a great job at Anokijig over the last 8 seasons and has kept Anokijig purring while he improved many of our facilities and systems. His efforts and leadership will be missed and we wish him well!

Kyle’s departure will be coming very soon. Since camp is just about to start, we will be interviewing replacements on an accelerated timeline. If you have the skills of a Building Facilities and Equipment Manager and you’re interested in a fulltime position helping keep Anokijig in shape to serve it mission into the future, or if you know someone that fits the bill; there is an application live online at https://anokijig.workbrightats.com/jobs/239717-65741.html along with the full job description. It’s Work Weekend… but this time the “work” looks a lot more like camp fun 😎

We’re looking for volunteers to help run all the usual program areas throughout the weekend — archery, trading post, boating, trail rides, arts & crafts, and all the little things that help the weekend run smoothly for our families and guests.

Whether you can help for a few hours or the whole weekend, we’d love to have you on the team. Come help us fill camp with energy, laughter, and a whole lot of camp spirit. Join us May 29th-31st, busing available along the normal routes. Sign up using the link below!

Please join us in welcoming Claire to the full-time team as our new Outdoor Education Director! 🌲✨

Claire is a former bilingual educator with 10 years of teaching experience in the Sheboygan Area School District, including 8 years in a dual-language school setting. She holds degrees in elementary education, English as a Second Language, Spanish, and bilingual/bicultural education and is fluent in English and Spanish. Claire is passionate about connecting education with outdoor exploration, making her a great fit for the role of Outdoor Education Director. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering with dog rescue organizations, traveling, baking, reading, camping, and playing disc golf.

We are so excited to have her join the team and can’t wait for all the experiences, ideas, and energy she’ll bring to camp. Be sure to give Claire a warm Anokijig welcome in the comments! 💙

100 years of camp memories… and we’re just getting started. 💛

From family weekends filled with laughter, campfires, and creativity (swipe to see some camper masterpieces 🎨), to generations of campers calling Anokijig home, this place has been bringing people together for a century.

Now it’s time to celebrate that legacy.
