The CVMTA Social is THIS Saturday, April 25 from 3:00-5:00 at my house: 2011 Skeels Avenue - a SNACK potluck! Bring your own drinks.

If warm enough, we will enjoy the outdoors and a campfire etc. If cool, indoors it is! Bring a snack to share, your family, a friend or two - time to visit!

Not a member of CVMTA yet? A member of one of our WMTA sister districts? Come on over! All are welcome!

I’ll have music here that I purchased at MTNA this past two conferences as well so you are welcome to look at them!

Today’s a BIG day!

CVMTA members will meet at UWEC for a Connections (pre-program time together) at 12:30. Following that, at 1:00, we will enjoy a presentation: Building Positive Mindset

In this interactive session, Dr. Alyssa Powell will identify strategies for students of all abilities to encourage healthy mindset for performing. Most students have some level of performance anxiety that can be acknowledged in lessons. With input from the attendees, Dr. Powell will first identify common challenges, provide perspective, and offer techniques to help teachers guide students to formulate a positive mindset.

Then From 5-7, members and family/friends of members, will gather at the home of Sandra Statz for our Christmas pot luck!

Better late than never! CVMTA had a GREAT fall Gala with students performing from 10:30-5:30 on Saturday Nov 1. Not all teachers are pictured because we are human and we know we missed some…so sorry! But, congrats to all the teachers, students and parents for making it a very musical day! This was held at Books A Million in Eau Claire! The digital piano was beautiful and donated for use by Morgan Music. 🎶
