Volunteer at Road America in the Lions Club Concession Stand
- IMSA Weekend (7/31 - 8/2) -

Dear ELGAA Families,

The local Lions Club has been incredibly generous to ELGAA in the past, and now it is our turn to support them. They are currently looking for volunteers to help run their concession stand at Road America, and we are putting out the call to our fantastic community to help us fill these slots. It is very important that we come through on this commitment!

The Lions are generously paying $12 per hour, per worker to ELGAA for this help. ELGAA needs to provide five (5) workers for each of the day, July 31st through August 2nd.

Volunteer Guidelines & Details:

Age Requirement: Workers must be entering the 7th grade or older.
Potential Duties Include:

Wrapping sandwiches and sides
Selling beer, soda, ice cream, and root beer floats
Working the corn stand (husking corn or running the cooker)
Serving as a condiment runner
Assisting as a griller

A sports scholarship through ElkhartCares helped one local student participate in Tae Kwon Do — and the impact has gone far beyond the sport itself.
As the student’s guardian shared, “He is really enjoying learning the moves, and the experience is helping build his confidence and self-esteem. He feels proud of the progress he’s making as he learns to stretch, improve his balance, and grow stronger.”

YOUTH FOOTBALL UPDATE!!
Parents,
Registration for the upcoming fall football season is now open, but our current numbers are low. In a small community like ours, we truly need everyone to participate to ensure a successful season for our kids, so please take a few minutes to log in to elgaa.com and register your athlete today.

The Elkhart Lake Glenbeulah Athletic Association (ELGAA) is incredibly excited to be managing the football program starting this year. Working closely with the varsity program, we have acquired thousands of dollars of new gear for our middle school teams. We take great pride in providing the best possible equipment to keep our athletes safe.

We also have a few exciting updates for the upcoming season:

**Middle School Teams**
We have split the middle school program into 5th/6th grade and 7th/8th grade teams.

**New Middle School League**
We have entered into a new league and look forward to competing against Oostburg, Random Lake/Ozaukee, and Kohler/Lutheran. Games for the middle school teams will be held on Tuesday nights.

The 3rd/4th grade tackle and 1st/2nd grade flag football programs will continue with the YMCA program, practices in Elkhart with games Saturday mornings in Sheboygan Falls.
