Hill Update!

After successfully regrading the tubing hill last week, we are moving forward with the next stage of preparation, reseeding the hill! The grass seed not only prevents erosion and cushions our snowpack, but will allow the hill to be enjoyed in the off season for years to come.

❄️ Big changes at Nutt Hill! ❄️

Major improvements are underway at the hill in preparation for the 26/27 Season. The biggest change is to the tubing hill, which is being completely regraded! This change will significantly lessen the steepness of the tubing runs, improving safety and allowing guests to enjoy more of the hill.

Sod has also been added to the top of the ski hill, providing a better foundation for our snowpack (not to mention looking much nicer!)

We are staying busy preparing for the upcoming season, so stay tuned to our social media to see what we’re doing next!

Come Help the Hill!

August is already here, and there is a lot of work to do before Nutt Hill opens for the season! As a community-funded non-profit, volunteers are an essential part of the Nutt Hill team both on-season and off.

Currently, volunteers are needed to help clean up the hill, assist in landscaping and yard work, and generally help us prepare for the upcoming season! Whether you choose to volunteer for 1 hour or 20, you help make Nutt Hill better for the entire community. 🩷

The Manager of Inside Operations plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth, efficient operation of Nutt Hill. They oversee daily inside operations including: employee hiring and staffing, guest services, payroll, time and attendance, ticketing, and chalet food and beverage.

Are you an experienced snowmaker and groomer of tubing and ski hills looking for a job this winter? Then we have the perfect opportunity for you!

We are searching for a part-time Tubing & Ski Hill Groomer and Snowmaker to join our team at Nutt Hill! This position is responsible for creating and maintaining safe, high-quality snow conditions for the tubing hill throughout the winter season, so basic mechanical skills and willingness to work outside in inclement weather is a must.
