HHCS/ARPD's Speech Therapy Program Is Helping Mohammad Ayan Find His Voice 🗣️💙✨

Thanks to the generosity of HHCS donors, five-year-old Mohammad Ayan is learning to communicate with confidence. Helping Hearts, Caring Souls (HHCS) proudly funds the Association for the Rehabilitation of the Physically Disabled (ARPD), our on-the-ground partner in Pakistan, whose rehabilitation center provides life-changing care to children like Mohammad Ayan — completely free of cost 💚.

🤍 At HHCS/ARPD, we believe every child deserves the chance to be heard. Mohammad Ayan came to the rehabilitation center for support, and our dedicated speech therapist has been working with him ever since — through listening exercises, speech practice, and language-building activities designed to help him express himself and connect with the world around him 🌟.

💚 Speech therapy is one of many services under HHCS/ARPD's Comprehensive Rehabilitation Program — alongside physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and psychological support — all provided free of cost to children and adults with disabilities from marginalized communities 👧🏽👦🏽♿.

HHCS/ARPD Celebrated Pakistan Independence Day at Its Rehabilitation Center with School Performances, Chief Guests, and Community 🇵🇰🎉🤍

🇵🇰 Thanks to the generosity of HHCS donors, ARPD held a vibrant Pakistan Independence Day celebration at its Rehabilitation Center in Peshawar — bringing together students, staff, persons with disabilities, and distinguished guests in a shared moment of national pride and community spirit.

🤍 Children from the ARPD Inclusive School System — a program made possible through the continued support of HHCS donors — brought the stage to life with Tilawat, Naat, speeches, cultural dances, and a powerful tableau 🌈. ARPD's PWD Power Group then performed national songs 🎤 — a moving reminder that persons with disabilities are active contributors to community life and culture 💪🏽.

🌟 Distinguished chief guests — Ch. Babar Hussain, CEO of Cantonment Board Peshawar, and Shohaib Khan, District Officer, Social Welfare Department — planted a tree in the ARPD garden 🌳 and warmly commended the work HHCS donors make possible.

🌟 HHCS's support of ARPD's Vocational Training Center is equipping women in Pakistan with life-changing skills. Our Cosmetology Course transforms lives through hands-on learning and opportunity.

👩🏽‍🎓 Our cosmetology program combines both theory and practical training, ensuring our students understand the science behind beauty care while developing hands-on expertise in:
- ✅ Hair styling and treatments
- ✅ Skincare and facial techniques
- ✅ Makeup application
- ✅ Professional salon practices

💪🏽 Upon completion, students earn an SDC-accredited certificate and gain practical skills that open doors to immediate employment in salons, spas, training centres, and beyond — enabling them to build careers and achieve financial independence.

🎨 HHCS/ARPD Empowers Women Through Vocational Skill Training

HHCS's support of ARPD's Vocational Training Center is transforming lives across Peshawar. Through this partnership, marginalized women now have access to skill training that opens pathways to independence and economic security. As an SDC-registered training provider, HHCS/ARPD awards recognized certificates upon course completion, giving graduates formal credentials that unlock employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.

Recently, HHCS/ARPD facilitated a fabric painting class where students mastered everything from basic techniques to intricate traditional designs, turning brush and color into genuine economic opportunity.

Each woman who completes her training leaves with far more than technical skills — she leaves with confidence, purpose, and the ability to support herself and her family. Many go on to establish home-based businesses, earning supplementary income that strengthens entire households.

Sanaan Stands Tall with New Prosthetic Limbs, Thanks to HHCS Donors 🦾💚

Thanks to the generous support of HHCS donors, Sanaan received bilateral prosthetic limbs — completely free of cost. Helping Hearts, Caring Souls (HHCS) proudly serves as the fundraising partner for the Association for the Rehabilitation of the Physically Disabled (ARPD), whose dedicated team delivers life-changing services that HHCS donors make possible.

🤍 Sanaan was born without his legs. Growing up in a low-income family, he couldn't move freely, couldn't attend school, and his future felt uncertain.

🦾 At HHCS/ARPD's Orthopedic Workshop, our team fitted him with prosthetic limbs and guided him through gait training and therapy. Sanaan stood and walked for the first time — with independence and dignity.

📚 Prosthetics were only the start. Sanaan is now enrolled in ARPD's Inclusive School System, alongside his peers, building the future ahead of him.

🦾🤍 HHCS/ARPD Provide Free Inpatient Care & Mobility Device to Waqas

Thanks to the generosity of HHCS donors, individuals like Waqas are receiving comprehensive, life-changing care in Pakistan. 🌟

🏥 Waqas came to ARPD following a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), which left him with left-side hemiplegia. With HHCS's support, he was admitted to ARPD's Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center, where he received dedicated inpatient care, free meals, and accommodation throughout his stay — because every patient deserves dignity and comfort on their path to recovery.

🦿 Through ARPD's Orthopedic Workshop, Waqas was assessed and fitted with a custom Ankle Foot Orthosis (AFO), funded by HHCS's donor community, giving him renewed stability and a path toward a more independent, confident life.
