HHCS/ARPD Brings Free Ultrasound Services to Peshawar Rehabilitation Center 🩺🤍✨

🏥 Thanks to the generosity of HHCS donors, our on-the-ground partner ARPD recently organized a free one-day Ultrasound Camp at their Peshawar rehabilitation center — bringing diagnostic imaging to patients and community members who need it most.

📡 Ultrasound diagnostics are often out of reach for marginalized communities due to cost barriers. Through this camp, ARPD was able to offer these services completely free of cost 💚 — removing one more obstacle standing between underserved individuals and the care they deserve.

HHCS Donors Helped ARPD Meet Aqsa at an Outreach Camp in Nowshera — and Donate Her a CP Chair 💙👧🏽🪑

🌸 Some of the most important moments begin not in a hospital — but in the open air of a community outreach disability camp, where a family arrives with hope in their hearts and uncertainty in their eyes.

🤲 Aqsa is a young child living with cerebral palsy. When ARPD's team set up a Free Outreach Disability Camp in Nowshera — made possible by the generosity of HHCS donors — her family came for an assessment. They had no idea how much that single visit would change everything.

🩺 ARPD's rehabilitation team recognized immediately that Aqsa needed more than one day of care. She was referred to ARPD's Rehabilitation Center in Peshawar for comprehensive inpatient treatment — completely free of cost 💚 — funded entirely through HHCS donor contributions.

Thanks to the generosity of HHCS donors, our implementing partner ARPD's Orthopedic Workshop in Peshawar manufactures specialized mobility aids — including CP chairs 🦽 designed specifically for children living with cerebral palsy.

🧠 What Is a CP Chair — and Why Does It Matter?
Cerebral palsy affects muscle tone, movement, and motor control, making it difficult for children to sit upright and engage comfortably with the world around them🌍. A CP chair is a specialized therapeutic seating system that addresses these challenges directly.

For a child with CP, the right chair can be life-changing 🌟:
🔹 Customized postural support — keeping the spine, hips, and head properly aligned
🔹 Reduces muscle fatigue and prevents secondary complications like spinal deformities

🌟🌟 HHCS/ARPD Provides Free Prosthetic Leg to Ayaz 🦾🚖🌟

🧡 Every person deserves the dignity of independence — and thanks to the generosity of HHCS donors, we are committed to making that a reality for deserving individuals.

🌿 Ayaz, a resident of Peshawar, received an amputation due to complications from diabetes — a condition that affects thousands across Pakistan, often with life-altering consequences for those with limited access to healthcare. As the primary breadwinner for his family and a taxi driver by profession, the amputation threatened not only his mobility, but his livelihood and his family's future.

🏥 Ayaz was referred to HHCS donor funded ARPD's rehabilitation center in Peshawar, where he received a comprehensive assessment and was fitted with a transfemoral (above-knee) prosthetic limb — entirely free of cost. ARPD's skilled orthopedic team guided him through gait training and rehabilitation, ensuring he could regain confidence and return to functional independence.

💪🏽 Today, Ayaz is back behind the wheel. His ability to provide for his family has been restored — made possible by HHCS donors like you, through dignified, professional rehabilitation care that recognized his worth and met his need.
