🎨☀️ Calling all creative kids and families in Plano! 🎭🎶🖌️ Registration is open for JumpStart for Arts, a FREE summer camp designed to inspire young artists ages 8 to 15 who live in Plano! 🌟✨

Presented in partnership with the ArtCentre of Plano and funded by the City of Plano, this exciting program gives campers the opportunity to explore visual art, creative movement, drama, and music while building confidence, creativity, and lasting memories. 🎨💃🎤🎼 Each camp session concludes with a special performance for family and friends to celebrate all they've learned and created! 👏❤️

📅 Camp Sessions:
🗓️ June 8 to June 12
🗓️ June 15 to June 19
🗓️ June 22 to June 26
🗓️ June 29 to July 3
🗓️ July 6 to July 10
🗓️ July 13 to July 17

🕐 Monday through Friday
⏰ 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM

2709 Custer Road
Plano, TX 75075

🎟️ Space is limited to 80 campers per session. Priority enrollment will be given to students attending Title I schools in accordance with City of Plano funding requirements.

In this special moment, Plano ISD Education Foundation Senior Executive Director Brittnea Ussery thanked Jeri for her service and contributions to the Foundation’s work supporting Plano ISD students, educators, and schools.

Plano ISD trustees are reviewing a proposed tax rate decrease for next fiscal year. 💰

The rate would drop to $1.0328 per $100 of appraised value, continuing a trend of reductions driven by state-mandated changes. However, rising home values mean most homeowners will still see an increase in what they owe. The board is set to adopt the budget in July and officially adopt the tax rate in August.
