The Prophet (s) did not simply lead—he developed leaders. He lifted those around him, modeled excellence, added value to their lives, and empowered them to carry the mission forward.

As Adnan Jalali reflects in Leadership Legacy, Prophetic leadership offers us a powerful model: true leadership is not only about influence; it is about investing in people and helping them become capable of leading others.

May we strive to build leaders with faith, character, wisdom, and a commitment to serving the Ummah.

Rabi ' al-Awwal is the month we remember the mercy of the Prophet (s), a mercy that reached the sick, the imprisoned, and those no one visited.

That work still needs people.

The last public count of Muslim chaplains in federal prisons is from 2020. Tomorrow night, the man who oversees the program gives us the real number.

Dr. Zubair Yousif of the Federal Bureau of Prisons joins chaplains serving in prisons, hospitals, and on university campuses, as well as students preparing to follow them.

Dr. Jones became involved in Islamic chaplaincy in the 1970s, beginning his journey as a volunteer chaplain. Today, he serves as Executive Vice President of The Islamic Seminary of America (TISA). Through decades of experience and reflection, he has witnessed the growth and evolution of Islamic chaplaincy and its increasing recognition within broader American society.

In his interview with Dr. Mona Islam, Dr. Jones emphasized the importance of building strong Muslim institutions of higher education. He shared that if Muslims are serious about making a meaningful and lasting impact in this place and time, we must recognize the vital role these institutions play in preparing future generations to lead, serve, and contribute to society.
