Plano Civic Chorus is a 70+ member regional auditioned choir who performs timeless choral masterpieces and exceptional modern works. The chorus, chartered in 1972, draws audiences and vocalists from across the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and is the choral performance partner of the acclaimed Plano Symphony Orchestra. Our hearts are still aglow from our Lord Nelson Mass concert Saturday night! Huge thanks to Plano East Choir, and soloists, Ashley Townsley, Daniele De Oliveira, Piero Antonio Centurion, and Isaac Carlin! We hope everyone who attended enjoyed it as much as we did!

Plano Civic Chorus is seeking applicants for our Merritt Felmly Scholarship. This year, four $1000 scholarships will be awarded; two to high school seniors and two to college students at either the undergrad or graduate level. Additionally, the choral program of each high school student winner will receive $250 for their program. This scholarship is open to candidates who live and attend schools in the DFW metroplex, which includes the following counties: Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Hunt, Kaufman, Rockwall, Johnson, Parker, Tarrant, and Wise. If you want to sing more in 2026, consider joining PCC! Not only will singing in a choir fill your musical bucket, but it can also help reduce stress, improve mental health and emotional well-being, and provide social opportunities with like-minded people. All wonderful things to hope for in the coming year!

This spring, we will be performing the Lord Nelson Mass with our new artistic director, Allen Hightower.
