Congratulations to the 2026 Pittsburgh 40 Under 40 honorees! Our thanks to Pittsburgh Magazine and all of the judges for another great year of partnership and another inspiring list. We look forward to sharing out more about the honorees' work and celebrating with everyone in November!

Each year, Pittsburgh Magazine and PUMP recognize 40 outstanding individuals under the age of 40 whose creativity, vision and passion enrich the Pittsburgh region.

Thanks to everyone who came out last Thursday for Science, Chilled & Distilled and our speaker, Dr. Ron Buckanovich, who taught us about his exciting science and the importance of targeting slow growing cells to eliminate cancer. We also want to thank our community partner Pittsburgh Urban Magnet Project (PUMP); and our host East End Brewing Company! We’re planning another event for the fall - stay tuned!

🏓 PSL Fall ' 26 Pickleball at Arts Landing 🌳

PSL Fall '26 pickleball registration is now open!

👵 All PSL participants must be 18 years of age or older and PUMP members in good standing.

📆 This league is scheduled to run from Thursday, August 13th to Thursday, October 1st with no matches on Thursday, September 17th. These dates are weather permitting, and rainouts will extend the season past October 1st.

💲 The league fee is $125.

⏰ Matches will be played at 6pm and 7pm each Thursday at the Arts Landing pickleball courts.

💻 All league players must be rostered on PSL's website to be eligible to participate in this league.

👥 Teams must have at least two (2) players on their roster and may have up to four (4) players on their roster.

🚻 PSL pickleball leagues are open gender, and league format is 2 vs 2.

5️⃣ Teams are guaranteed five (5) matches, and each match consists of three (3) games played to 11 points.

Pickleball meets public art.

Sharmistha Ray's "Geometry of Play" turns the courts at Downtown Pittsburgh's new Arts Landing into a vibrant geometric mural, inspired by historic board games like Pachisi.

Courts are first come, first served. Go see it (or play on it) daily, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

A cohort of nine leaders from the Pittsburgh region recently participated in the Harvard Business School Young American Leaders Program (YALP).

YALP convened groups of leaders from fourteen cities for a four-day immersive experience. The program aims to develop leaders who understand cross-sector collaborations for shared prosperity and work across traditional boundaries to help their communities thrive.
