Most moms pass down things like family recipes, traditions, or good advice. Laura took it a step further and passed down her birthday! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Weโ€™re so ๐ญ๐ก๐š๐ง๐ค๐Ÿ๐ฎ๐ฅ for both of these wonderful ladies and the joy they bring to our church family. Their love for the Lord, their servant hearts, and the way they care for others are a blessing to so many at Palmerdale Cross.

Today, weโ€™re celebrating twice the birthdays and twice the blessings!

Please join us in praying for our ๐‚๐ก๐ข๐œ๐š๐ ๐จ ๐Œ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐“๐ž๐š๐ฆ as they leave tomorrow for a week of ministry! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

Pray that God will work in powerful ways through every ๐œ๐จ๐ง๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, every ๐š๐œ๐ญ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ฌ๐ž๐ซ๐ฏ๐ข๐œ๐ž, and every opportunity to ๐ฌ๐ก๐š๐ซ๐ž ๐‡๐ข๐ฌ ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž. Pray that lives will be changedโ€”not only the lives of those our team will meet, but also the lives of those serving on the mission field. We pray that many will come to know Jesus and that God will use this trip to make an eternal impact.

Please also pray for safety, good health, unity, encouragement, and strength throughout the week. ๐Ÿค

Weโ€™re excited for another great night of Summer Together at Palmerdale Cross!

Join us at ๐Ÿ”:๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“ ๐๐Œ in the Sanctuary as children, students, and parents gather together for an evening of worship, fun, and fellowship.

Weโ€™ll begin with a couple of worship songs that families can enjoy together, followed by some exciting stage games for everyone to participate in.

๐“๐จ๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐ซ๐จ๐ฐ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐…๐š๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐’๐ฎ๐ง๐๐š๐ฒ!

One of the greatest ways children learn how to worship is by being ๐ฉ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐ข๐ง ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ. Family Sunday gives our kids the opportunity to sit with their families, participate in the service, and begin learning how to engage appropriately in a worship setting while still being allowed to be kids.

As a church family, we also have the opportunity to ๐ž๐ง๐œ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐š๐ ๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ง๐ž๐ฑ๐ญ ๐ ๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง. That means showing grace, patience, and understanding as children learn and grow. A little whisper, wiggle, or dropped crayon is a small reminder that ๐†๐จ๐ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ซ๐š๐ข๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ฎ๐ฉ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐Ÿ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐‡๐ข๐ฌ ๐‚๐ก๐ฎ๐ซ๐œ๐ก ๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ ๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐ž ๐š๐ฆ๐จ๐ง๐  ๐ฎ๐ฌ. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

We donโ€™t expect perfectionโ€”we expect growth. Our prayer is that Family Sunday helps children develop a love for worship, Godโ€™s Word, and gathering with Godโ€™s people.
