Welcome to Rudd Middle, Mr. Fischer!!

Please help us welcome the new Principal of Rudd Middle School, Mr. Kristopher Fischer! Mr. Fischer has served as an Assistant Principal in the Jefferson County School System for the last five years, including one year at Pinson Valley High School and four years at Hueytown High School. Before getting into administration, Kristopher was an English teacher, Exceptional Education teacher, and coached football and baseball.

Mr. Fischer completed his undergraduate degree in English Education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, before finishing his master’s in Special Education 6-12, master’s in Instructional Leadership, and his EdS in Special Education at the University of West Alabama. Kristopher is now working toward his PhD in Supervision and Administration of Curriculum from Auburn University.

Mr. Fischer is so excited to serve the students and families of the Rudd and Pinson communities. He said, “The opportunity to aid in student success is what has driven my career, and I cannot wait to utilize this passion in order to build meaningful and productive relationships within this learning community. Go Indians!”

Congratulations, Mr. Fischer!
