We are looking forward to Jim Baggett coming to the Trussville Historical Museum this Saturday, June 20, at 10:30 a.m. to present "Alabama's Milk War"!

Jim Baggett, who for years served as the head of the Department of Archives and Manuscripts at the Birmingham Public Library, will present "Alabama's Milk War": In Depression-era Alabama dairy farmers and milk processors went to war over the price of milk. This talk explores the violence--bombings, shootings, and two deaths--that resulted, as well as the prime suspect's bizaar trial and prison break.
