Justice 4 The Parents in Pinson, Alabama provides parents and foster parents a platform for sharing their experiences to help those who encounter similar circumstances. Aside from being the founders of this organization, we are foster parents ourselves. We adopted one of our foster children who had issues that were not disclosed before their adoption process was finalized. As a result, we ended up

having to deal with legal issues because of our method of discipline. The state took our child away due to spanking. We now have to provide documentation proving that we were unaware of the child's condition that lead this child to "act out" before the incident. We believe that if this happened to us, it is likely that other parents have had similar experiences. Since it is important to place the child's needs first, we want to provide a forum and network for parents. This serves as the perfect venue to share their experiences, provide advice to one another, and support each other.
